When he couldn't re-up, he tried civilian life, which he told me he couldn't do because all he knew was the military life. He joined the Navy from the DEP program, right from high school. As he grew, he became the rock of the family. I don't know why, but it just happened that way. At an early age, he took on the role of our protector. I had a home birth which was the most wonderful experience! As a baby, he never fussed such an easy baby to have!
